Director of Sales Engineering

This is a senior position in the sales organization with direct report to the VP of Sales for the Americas. In this position you will be the key promoter of our technology at trade shows and client engagements. Summary Assists in selling software and hardware components and systems services by performing the following duties.

Calls or assists with calls with professional and technical personnel at commercial, industrial, and other establishments and attempts to convince prospective client of desirability and practicability of products or services offered.

Reviews customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates or projected savings from client's use of proposed equipment or services.

Draws up or proposes changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services which would result in cost reduction or improvement in operations.

Provides technical guidance to clients relating to use, operation, and maintenance of equipment including overall solution development.

Draws up sales or service contract for products or services.

Provides technical assistance to client and employees of the client as necessary.

Manages equipment needed for trade show presentations
